Albion PTO Playground Fund

As we begin our first year as Albion Community School, the Albion Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) would like to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting our school.  While challenging at times, tremendous improvements have been made to our School in the past year, and it is only getting better.  These improvements would not be possible without the support of family, friends and the entire Albion community.  This truly is an exciting time for our School.  Not only do we have a new name, but with the passage of the sinking fund millage and the hiring of a new principal, we have new energy and optimism.  We are going to transform our School into a community center that we can be proud of!   

The playground is a critical component of building that community center.  Only a year ago our playground was an empty football practice field.  With the generous support of the Albion Community Foundation, the Albion Area Philanthropic Women, and Consumer’s Energy, that practice field has become a playground with swings, slides and climbers.  These improvements are part of a plan to give Albion Community School the best playground in the area.  Planned improvements include two regulation size outdoor basketball courts, a net climber, a teeter totter, another swing set, an ADA approved swing, a merry-go-round, an outdoor classroom and more.  The estimated cost to complete all of these playground improvements is $100,000. 

We would like you to consider supporting these playground improvements through a tax deductible donation to the Albion PTO Playground Fund. Small donations from friends and family outside of Albion will make a big difference in how quickly we reach our fundraising goal.  Every gift you make, regardless of the amount, will be used for playground improvements directly benefiting our children and community.
