Help us to help the animals in Egypt.

Animals are overworked and neglected.

This is partly due to animal welfare ignorance, but largely due to the lack of resources to be able to properly care for animals.

Please donate to help us provide aid to these animals through ACAE.




Animal & Community Aid Egypt (ACAEgypt) will be a centre from which we will be able to help any suffering animals in rural, non touristic areas of Egypt.

Egypt has an astounding number of working and stray animals. People depend fully on their working animals to make a living which often means working them through injury, illness and exhaustion. ACAE will provide the required aid to the animals and basic education to the community in how and why to take care for their animals.

We will provide feed and water, comfortable tack, basic wound treatment, access to veterinarians where required amongst many other services.

ACAE will not be biased towards a certain number of species, we will help any one who needs us.

Working alongside local and foreign qualified vets we will run an extensive Trap/Neuter/Release programme for the many stray cats and dogs, any animals deemed unsuitable for release due to ill health or age for example will be given a refuge and home for our Rehab and Rehome programme. The Rehab and Rehome programme will allow us to rehabilitate these animals and where appropriate find them forever homes, ideally abroad. Animals deemed unsuitable for both release and rehoming will be given sanctuary at the ACAE Centre for life.

In order to further support the communities ACAE will work with small local business rather than generic mainstream companies where possible.

We also have plans to bring in foreign, fully qualified individuals from a range of disciplines including farriery, equine dentistry and veterinary medicine to provide the animals and community with their knowledge and skills. We will take full advantage of the knowledge of anybody working with us and pass this on extensively to the communities.
