Help Anna get to RTX 2014 in Austin, TX!

As some of you may know, I've been having trouble trying to get a job so I can save up for school and trips.
Since I can't seem to find a job, I decided to start art commissions.
That hasn't been going to greatly, I tried getting myself out there and no one wants to take.
My family is fairly poor, or lower middle class. My mother is the only one working at the moment. She works at a hardware store and only makes about $25,000. Which is unfortunate, because she has an associate's degree in drafting and engineering.
My father was just released from the hospital with kidney failure and potential prostate cancer.
My oldest sister has stage 3 endometrial (uterine) cancer.
So a lot is happening and I'm trying to save up as much money for myself and for my family.
A couple goals I have are for Spring Break travel and for Rooster Teeth Expo 2014 in the summer.
This is my graduating year and I wanted to travel down to Austin, Texas to meet the people who have changed my life. A company called Rooster Teeth.
RTX 2014 is the weekend of July 4th, 5th, and 6th. Tickets sell out fast and they are $90+ for a three day pass. It is held in Austin, Texas.
I live in Michigan and I'm terribly afraid of flying, so I calculated train costs. A round-trip ticket is roughly $170. It is also a 33 hour ride so I would have to leave a couple days early.
They are not offering discounts at hotels near the convention, so the cost is $200 a night and I would have to depart from Michigan on July 2nd or 3rd because of the 33 hour ride. I will hopefully arrive July 3rd and stay until July 7th.
This is my first time travelling alone, and I hope to have friends coming with me.
With all of RTX 2014 costs; souvenirs, food, hotel, transportation, tickets, I estimated the cost to be about $1,700 without splitting costs of the hotel with people.
I would try my best to produce a great work of art for anyone willing to buy and help me out.
I'm not a professional, but I am better than average, I suppose.
