A celebration of children and youth who are passionate about Skateboarding and BMXing. They have skills and we want them to have the chance to train, practice and be safe.
We want to give them an alternative to negative behavior.
ABOUT THE EVENT
This fun day will begin at 12 noon at the Hempstead Fireman's Field. There will be Game of Skate Contests and Skateboard and BMX Team exhibitions, and guest appearances of professional skateboarders.
Everyone will be able to enjoy food and music. Our very young citizens will have a lot of fun playing in those loveable bounce houses. Vendors will be able to come and showcase their goods and share information.
OUR GOALS?
1) Create and promote Skateboard and BMX Training Programs and Teams
2) Build Outdoor and Indoor skateboard parks that are safe and fun
Giving elementary, middle and high school aged youth the opportunity for positive expression in this fast growing sport.
It's not basketball, football or soccer -- It's SKATEBOARDING! It's BMXing!
Everybody deserves the opportunity to do what they love doing:..For you it might be singing - for them it is Skateboarding or BMXing!
Team Building "” Social Skills "” Responsibility "” Motivational
BLAKE GRAY grew up in Uniondale - Had to leave home to follow his passion because there was no where here to practice and learn. He went to California - Now he is a NIKE ambassador, training youth.
His passion turned into a career.
OUR YOUTH NEED YOU!
IT STARTS with a day of skateboarding and bmx fun and wholesome entertainment for the entire community!
ENDS UP in a changed life: changed family: changed community
