Hello everyone!
I'm a 20-year-old college student who is, as of this moment, unemployed. I've been applying constantly (and to many different locations), but I've had no luck.
I'm mainly making this as a sort of emergency fund, if anyone would like to donate.
I live at home with my mom, who is working two jobs but makes very little money. Just enough to get by, but we'd like to be able to do more. We don't get to have much fun these days because money just ends up going to bills and payments.
I'm setting the goal for $1000 so as not to be too terribly greedy, but more would of course be absolutely appreciated ^.^
If there is anything you wish to know just be sure to ask and I'll answer ^.^

UPDATE/EDIT: An ultimate goal of my mom and I is to move to California. We both lived there for many years and moved to Colorado in the summer of 2009. Ever since we moved we have both been absolutely miserable as jobs have been extremely hard to come by (and the jobs my mom /has/ gotten have all been very very hard on her), and money has been much tighter than it ever was back in California.
We'd like to eventually be able to buy a house (something neither of us has had) as well. We want to travel and live in relative comfort and not have to worry from month to month about whether bills will get paid on time. We realize we have it easier than a lot of people, but it's still incredibly draining for the both of us, and we haven't been happy in a long time. We'd like to be able to go and do fun things like see movies and go to amusement parks (something we haven't done since we moved).
We have been trying to save up but like I said above, money always ends up going toward rent and bills and other such necessities. We'd both really and truly appreciate it if anyone could help us out, even just a little bit. <3

UPDATE/EDIT: I have not been in college since Fall Semester 2013 due to constant money issues; my mom was in a minor car accident that semester and since we had to prioritize the car, we weren't able to afford my Spring semester. Then when I attempted to sign up for Fall classes in 2014, I was told that financial aid would not cover it, and we had to back out because we would not have been able to come up with the money, and certainly not in time before late fees started coming in. I am hoping to be able to be back in college in Spring 2015, even if only for one class. However, I am concerned I will have to forgo yet another semester due to money issues.
