Hello everyone!
My name is Charys Potter and I am a recent high school graduate. I was born in India, then moved back to Britain with my family when I was three, then to America when I was 7, and recently at the age of18 I have returned back to Britain. Moving around is wonderful because I have been able to see the world early on, however the financial side of moving countries is never easy.
Now I am planning to take a gap year before I start university next year. I will be traveling to Belgium where I will intern for seven months with a non-profit organisation in their anti-human trafficking team. I have raised almost half of the money I need for this trip, but the flight leaves in a month and I still need to fundraise the rest.
This is where I am asking for your help, the money I have raised so far is a blessing but the month is slowly becoming less and less.
Because of living in the family I do, I have been used to this type of situation. But now, I am doing this independent of my family and have more responsibilities. Which is exciting and terrifying all mixed into one.
There is absolutely no obligation to give, but if you do I am incredibly grateful to you. If you can't, I would also be thankful for your thoughts and prayers.
