As I type this update, we are on our way home from JAMZ Nationals in Las Vegas. What an amazing and emotional few days! Sooooo much love for Jewel and her family! I am so proud of ALL of our teams. I am so proud of so many others, from gyms all over as well! So many teams each had their own way of honoring Jewel this weekend. Whether it was a green bow on your head, a green ribbon pinned on you or your fingers aimed up to heaven ... You were all amazing!
I think I speak for everyone when I say, we could not be any more proud of Wr4th, Jewels team. Not only did they walk away with the national championship, they did so while persevering through their sorrow and grief, so soon after loosing Jewel. No doubt about it, she was there with you in spirit! Way to #doitforjewel!
Jewel and her family have been shown so much love and respect by many who knew and loved the Pimentel's, to many who never even met them! The loss of Jewel has impacted many. I also believe it has reminded us all something we all know, but often loose sight of ... tomorrow is never promised. Be kind. Be selfless. Be bold.
It is so heartwarming to see all the different displays of kindness and generosity from people from all over! Staff, classmates and their families from PHHS, All Star gym owners/coaches from all over and the families from their respective gyms, Girl Scout families, Navajo Softball and families from their league and complete strangers from all over ... Amazing!
The Pimentel's still have a long road ahead of them and 3 young children to care for while trying to find their way through this unimaginable grief. Please continue to share this page so we can continue to support Monica and Joey, while they focus on being there for Jewel's three younger siblings.
Again, with a full and grateful heart. THANK YOU!! XoXo

The loss of a child is devastating. To have it happen so suddenly and unexpected, it is unfathomable. Several of us started to put our funds together in an effort to help the Pimentel Family with any expenses surrounding this tragedy. It was suggested that we start this fundraiser to better assist the family. Please join us in that effort. No donation is too small. Jewel is loved by many. Together, as a community, let's support the Pimentel Family.
