Home for all the family

4 years ago, my friend, Myffanwy Edwards and I got kicked out our our home. I have been able to get a place, but my friend is still homeless. She spends all week going from my house share to another friend's house share, just for somewhere to sleep while she works. She also see's her father twice a week to help look after him.

Her father lives in a run-down Council flat. He is both disabled and retired. He lives alone and needs help with many things, which he doesn't get. Me and Myffanwy see him twice a week in our spare time to make sure he's okay and not to lonely. He did have a dog, who he loved very much and cared for, and did wonders for his health - only to be forced to get rid of her by the Council. A few years back he was attacked outside of his home, leaving him scared and vulnerable. The dog gave him security. Now he lives in fear everyday and has sleepless nights, with no real help coming from the Council he lives under. He is both physical and mentally disabled, but doesn't get the amount of care he really needs.

These 2 have had a very hard time since Myffanwy's mother, the rock of the family, died of Cancer 7 years ago. I have been looking for the last 2 years for a place we can all move back into together, with our pets and rent we can afford.

This is where I need your help. We have finally found a house that would allow all of us a fresh new start. We can have my friend's father's dog back with him to help his mental health, Myffanwy will no longer be homeless. They can finally move on in their lives to bigger, better, healthier things. 

All credit checks went well but mine - my contracted hours are apparently to low a month to "afford" the monthly rent in the Agency's credit checker's eyes. I need to pay my part of the rent of the next 12 months up front, on top of the already wanted deposit. This totals up to at least £6000.

We had everything saved. But after using £1000 already to hold the house and have our credit checks, along with the new sudden extra large fee to pay, we are now extremely short on money. I plan to work all day everyday at work for the next 2 months, as is my friend, but this still won't make enough money in time. I am even having to sell all my belongings to try and make meets end.

I'm even willing to donate back to you or someone you know in return once we have finally moved in the next few months. This is my way to thank you all for all you can do for us.

We don't want to give up. This house is the best thing we've had happen in years, and we don't want our efforts wasted. But we're running out of time.
