The Flying Squirrel - Green RV Project

Welcome to the GoFundMe for The Flying Squirrel, a Green RV home conversion project! Our plan is to convert our antique 1974 Crown Supercoach School Bus into a self sustaining, off grid, portable house for two humans and a small herd of rescued felines! We will be doing all the work ourselves, including building solar panels, installing a wind turbine, a rain collection system, waste composting system, natural heat through a wood stove, even a biodiesel conversion to reduce the carbon footprint and reduce the dependence on fossil fuels!
Once the bus is liveable, we will be traveling throughout the country volunteering with animal rescues, adoption centers and spay/neuter clinics to help ensure healthy animals are adopted into happy, loving, furrever homes! We also plan on finding and purchasing land to build our own farm and animal rescue center later on in the future!
Some of the supplies we need for this project are pretty expensive, so we are reaching out to friends, family and strangers for donations! Any amount, no matter how big or small is appreciated and going to a great cause. We will also be posting a 'need' list of specific items that can be new or slighly used (upcycle!), so even if you can't make a cash donation, you might have something we need just sitting in your garage taking up space!
