Sigma Psi Zeta House Renovation Fund
Dear Sisters, Family, and Friends,
Last spring, Sigma Psi Zeta Pi Chapter at the George Washington University was thrilled to sign a nine-year lease with the University to receive our very own townhouse. This was a huge milestone for us. When Pi Chapter was founded just ten years ago, we couldn't have imagined coming this far. However, with the house, we inherited several unique features including peeling linoleum floors, a rickety bannister, leaking heaters, poor lighting, and charming blood red walls.
GW has given us the opportunity to completely overhaul the house this summer. This is our first chance to really make it our own. Renovations will include repainting, new floors, new lighting, and other decorations and furnishing.
As the first Sigma Psi Zeta sistership with official Greek housing, Pi Chapter wants to make our house an attractive, welcoming space that all sisters can be proud of. While the University is covering many of the repairs, renovations will still be extremely costly- far beyond our chapter's reach. We're working hard every day to fundraise, but we need your help. One hundred percent of funds raise would go toward renovations. We hope that we can count on your support to build a house that we're proud of.
Sincerely,
Sigma Psi Zeta Pi Chapter
