Local Family in need after injury

Please help support my family during this difficult time in our lives. When we left for our vacation we were so excited for our endeavors and time being dpent with family that lived over 1100 miles away. A few days into our vacation our joy and excitability came to a halting stop.

My husband had an injury to his right knee that has now turned into a nightmare. George tore his right quadricep. This injury will require him to have surgery next week and he is expected to have a full leg cast for 6 weeks and 6 months of rehabilitation. This has put him out of work for 6 months at the earliest. He is a fighter and is really pushing to get back to work in 12 weeks.

We are asking for help as his job does not offer short/long term disability insurance and all the time he will be off will not be paid. George was the sole provider of our family. I am out of work for medical reasons and do not receive any benefits to support us. We have 2 daughters and are trying to make ends meet. My husband is so embarrassed by this injury and the thought of needing to reach out to others for help has made him cry.

Please help our family and show him that others do care!! Any help is greatly appreciated. Prayers are needed as well!!
