Ryan's Mission Trip to Wales

I had an incredible opportunity to spend just over a month in the United Kingdom, specifically Wales, last summer with the International Mission Board. I found God working there in ways that I still can't wrap my head around! Since being back in the United States, I've been prayerfully considering a return trip, possibly for an even longer stay. God has been good and I am officially accepted to go back and have begun taking steps to make this summer possible. 

I will be performing basic renovations on an old, historical chapel in Caernarfon, the town I lived in last summer. Currently, a congregation meets in the church, but its disrepair forces them to primarily use a small side room for services and fellowship. Our plan is to begin work that will lead to increased utility of the church throughout the city. The congregation is relatively small, but is in a constant pursuit of glorifying God in the city of Caernarfon. This will be my assignment most days, but evenings and many weekends will be open for me to continue to develop relationships with people that I met last year. I consider myself beyond blessed to be able to return to Wales and serve the people and community there. 

The first and most important way you can support me is through prayer. I cannot imagine undertaking a trip like this without interceding on behalf of myself, my co-workers, church leaders, and other people that I will have an opportunity to interact with.

Secondly, I need financial help. I am anticipating raising money from several different places, including my home church, my school, my family, and personal resources from my on-campus job. However, these sources will not cover all of my costs. If you feel led to, I would appreciate any help that you can provide. By doing this, you will play a critical part in this mission trip and open up many doors in God's kingdom.
