Heaven Gained An Angel - Lacie Fontenot
This is Cameron Fontenot, Lacie Fontenot's baby brother. As many of you know, the death of my sister is causing quite the uproar in the town of Lake Arthur. With her death and an extensive, unnecessary posting in the Jennings Daily News, and the flood of media trying to contact the family at such a horrible time, it is no question the hard-times my sister had endured while here on earth. I want to begin by saying that my sister may have had her problems. She had her addiction, she had an extensive past as most of you unfortunately know. I want to continue to say that Lacie was loved by so many people. She left behind, not only her parents and siblings who loved her unconditionally, but also her beautiful 8 year old daughter, Alizay. I can't imagine the pain my parents are going through, and especially the pain of Alizay who cries and says she misses her mom. This loss would be hard enough as it is, but with all the hearsay, rumors, media, everything bombarding our family, it's making this process way more unbearable than expected. No 8 year old child should lose their parent, and no parent should have to bury their 27 year old child to what may or may have not been foul play.
I'm setting up this fundraising account for my parents. They are beyond devastated by what has happened, and I want to possibly make this process a little easier, if possible. It's the least I feel I can do at a time like this.
I am asking a goal of $7,000, but ANY donation can be a tremendous help in this time.
This would be a lot more formal; however, I am still at a loss for words with everything going on. I want to sincerely thank all of you that have been here for my family and have sent their prayers, condolences, and thoughts to everyone dealing with this loss.
Lacie was an amazing person, she would do anything for anyone. REGARDLESS of her past, any one that knew her, knew how much of an amazing, kindhearted individual she was. The memories that we shared, the relationships she had with each person she encountered, will forever be a pleasant memory. I want to sincerely thank all of you in advance for any donations you all may make, and just for your supportive words. It is extremely appreciated.
