Castleman's Adopting from Haiti!
We truly believe nothing is impossible with God! God has given us the want and desire to welcome another one of his children into our home. When God calls you to do something, you listen!
Annie has always had a strong connection to Haiti. Just out of high school she went on two separate mission trips to Haiti and fell in love with the people. She has a big place in her heart for the needs of the people in Haiti. It has always been a dream of hers to adopt but with three of our own children it didn't seem like it was in our plan. But we are so thankful to say, that God has pressed on our hearts that He wants us to fulfill that dream. Our three children are so excited about their new brother! Our youngest girl will correct anyone praying at dinner time if they don't pray for our baby brother. When we first decided to adopt, my biggest reservation was the financial burden of the adoption. Through many prayers and digging into God's word, we are convinced that God will provide in everyway. This is outside of our comfort zone to ask others to help us financially, but we are letting go of our pride and trusting in God.
When Annie came to me and asked me to pray about this decision, God reminded me, "Anyone who welcomes a child like this on my behalf is welcoming me." Matthew 18:5
Thank you for helping us bring our baby boy home! We are excited to get past the large amount of paper work and get our referral for our little boy! We hope to share our news very soon!
