World Powerlifting Championship USA

Hi my name is Tiarne and I am the current Australian Junior National Champion in Powerlifting.

I have just been named in the Australian Team to compete at the IPF World Powerlifting Championships which will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa in June. This is a huge honour! I have been working toward this selection since December last year. My dream has now come true but it hasn't been without hard work and a lot of training.

I competed for Australia for the first time last December over in New Zealand and loved it!!!!! I came home with 3 gold, 4 silver medals and 3 new Australian Records. I am hoping to break all of my own Aussie Records while in South Africa and to also gain more international competing experience.

Travelling and competing internationally comes at a price. At this stage Powerlifting is a self-funded sport and all expenses are to be taken care of by the athlete. I love this sport and I am totally hooked.

I do, however, need some financial support in realising my dreams over in South Africa. If you can help me in any way possible, be it small or large, I would be forever grateful.
