Kerry's ride!
Fundraising for a new custom made wheelchair
for a proud Mum!

Kerry Coe is a mother who has two children under 3, she has a university degree, has played a lead character in a BAFTA award winning film, she jumps out of planes, Oh and she also just happens to have Cerebral Palsy.

Cerebral Palsy is a disability caused by lack of Oxygen to the brain during or just after birth.

The symptoms of cerebral palsy vary greatly from person to person and depend on the type of cerebral palsy.

Some have problems walking, while others are profoundly disabled and require lifelong care.

Kerry has always strived to be fiercely independent and for many years walked as much as possible, however after a series of falls a few years back she now totally relies on her electric powered wheelchair.

Her current chair is nearly ten years old and is in desperate need of replacement.

She helped raise money herself for this chair by jumping out of plane in a tandem parachute jump and she intends to help raise money again with a series of fund raising events.

Cerebral palsy is not a progressive condition. This means it will not get worse as she gets older. However, it can put a great deal of strain on the body, which can cause problems in later life.

Kerry also has two beautiful children, Dylan who is 2 and Charlie who is 8 months.

Without a chair she wouldn't have the mobility to care for her kids and the independence that is so vitally important to her and her family.

Her new chair needs to be a bespoke build with special features which will set her up for many years of motherhood ahead.

Please give what you can to help; Kerry and her family need your support.

Thank you for your support.
