Arielle & Janice Prieto Relief Fund

On August 18th, 2015 around 4:30 A.M. Janice Stocks Prieto and her 15 year old daughter Arielle were attacked in their home by Arielle's ex-boyfriend. They both suffered stab wounds to their chest, arms and legs. Arielle's heart had been punctured during the events causing her to be taken to St. Mary's via traumahawk, needing open heart surgery to save her life. Janice's second daughter, Amanda, who witnessed the entire event and was able to call 911 early enough to have the police arrive and stop the altercation, having the exboyfriend flee the scene, while remaining unharmed.

Janice works as a licensed massage therapist and is very well known throughout Ft. Pierce and Port St. Lucie. As a result of her injuries to her arms and wrists from fighting off the attacker, she will be out of work for quite some time. She will also need to help her daughter recover from her injuries. 

We wanted to set up this GoFundMe page in order to alleviate the added stress to Janice of being unable to work. She has dedicated her life to making others feel relaxed and at peace and she and her family deserve the same in return.
