Team Nolan

Donation protected
Nolan was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) before his second birthday. After enduring eight months of treatment at Children's Hospital at Dartmouth in New Hampshire he was in remission. Nolan grew into a healthy toddler zipping around the world with his adorable smile. In November of 2013 Nolan suffered seizures and his parents, Matt and Mary, learned that his cancer was back in his brain and spinal fluid.
After spending a month in the hospital to drain fluid around his brain Nolan was ready to begin his fight again. This included several rounds of radiation and more chemo. Unfortunately this didn't work against all of the cancer so Nolan is now headed to Dana-Farber in Boston, Massachusetts to receive high dose chemo followed by a bone marrow transplant in hopes for a cure. There is no doubt that Nolan's fighting spirit, his parents love, and modern medicine will get him the cure that he needs.
Along with a cure comes huge expenses. As a result of his upcoming treatment Nolan's parents will not be able to work full time as they both were for the next year. A transplant involves up to a year of isolation to the general public which means Nolan cannot go to daycare as other children do for this year. Mary and Matt will need to take turns being home with him once he is home from Boston. Their family will also need to relocate to Boston for about three months while Nolan undergoes his transplant.
Unfortunately, the everyday living expenses that go along with a cancer diagnosis pile up quickly. With your help the burden of financial stress can be alleviated. The money raised on this site will help pay for gas (Boston is three hours away from their home), day to day expenses, rent for their house while they are out of work, etc: Mary, Matt, Nolan, and Nolan's brother Colin know that they are being prayed for and thought of daily. They can feel the support and appreciate everything that people are doing for them. Thank you!!!
