Our home flooded during this year's harsh Chicago winter. The cold
weather froze our pipes and damaged our entire home. Our floors froze
along with the pipes, and some of the appliances in our home need
repairs.
The total floor and pipes repair cost around $2,900 and the appliances also need to be repaired and some needs replacement.
Today we are asking for help. We aren't able to afford spending our money on anything besides food. My roommate and I are currently students attending college and we are barely paying for the tuition itself. We cannot afford to pay for the damage and the high cost that comes with it. We don't have this kind of money at all. This is a difficult time for us. All we want to do is to finish our education, and we are in big need of this help.
