Remi is an English Springer Spaniel who was found roaming in the bitter New England cold last winter. After his image was shared over 1,500 times on Facebook, nobody came forward to claim him.
Remi was taken in by a foster family, but has since suffered from chronic ear infections. During a surgical procedure, it was discovered that Remi had a 2 inch-long piece of foxtail grass lodged in his inner ear. The grass was removed, but has caused considerable damage to Remi's ear. The damage can be treated, but the cost will be nearly $2,000.
Remi takes several meds each day for constant pain and chronic infections. Without surgical treatment, he will have to be euthanized. Remi is too sweet and lovable to be put down. Please help us give him the life he deserves!
