Help me be a part of my daughters life

Dear friends, This is not the type of thing I would generally do but I'm at the point now where my options are slim and I HAVE TO get this resolved...so here's the thing; if you know me or have paid any sort of attention to my Facebook over the last few months, you know I have a 3 month old daughter that I, to this day, have never met. I'm about to peruse a court battle in which I intend to A) establish paternity on a legal level and B) establish some sort of rights so I can start being the father my little girl deserves. If you've ever dealt with any sort of family law to this degree, you know these things are not cheap. Though I have a good steady job, I just don't have the funds necessary to get this ball rolling in a timely fashion. I hate even doing this because I feel like I'm asking for a handout but I'll swallow any amount of pride for the chance to be with my little girl. Fifty cents, a buck, anything helps and I will be eternally indebted to you. The $2000 I'm trying to scrape together plus the added funds I should be able to get from selling my music equipment should cover everything I need to make this happen. If you can't help out, that's fine! Don't feel obligated by any means, kind words and support mean just as much to me. I appreciate every bit of love you have all shown me through this entire ordeal. That means more to me than you will ever know. Thank you all for your time and I hope to be showing you all the fruits of my labor very soon.
