My name is Jade Louise and I am the Founder & Director of Freedom Write Inc. , an NGO that aims to connect rural villages in Africa with Friendship, Respect, Education and Empowerment towards poverty relief.
I live and breathe this work. When I am in Australia, every cent I make goes towards getting back on the front line in Kenya and Malawi where myself and other Freedom Write Volunteers can do our best work to create sustainable change in very rural, rather forgotten, locations.

Our main areas of work currently, are education (secondary) , sexual reproductive health education, human rights, environmental sustainability, creative empowerment (Freedom Art) and IGA (Income Generating Activity) awareness, and international cultural exchange and friendship through our letter program. We also have support programs for school leavers and graduates, have community volunteering programs that lead to school fee relief for students and much more.
All of our programs are self-sustainable and are implemented alongside local, grass-roots organisations.
The money side of things: Freedom Write Inc. is a fully registered Not for Profit organisation in Australia but is not yet fully registered in Kenya- this process alone takes over $500. On top of that we work with around 200 students who's families struggle to meet school fees, the schools we are in have only a couple of text books per subject, have no windows, no floors, and hardly functioning black boards.
Any funds raised will go directly towards the implentation of Fredom Write Inc's programs, in accordance with our objectives and mission and will be reported on our website.
Please help support the work of Freedom Write Inc... I have four months in rural Kenya this time, and every second, every cent, every drop of sweat, every breath can move towards the change of these communities.
