Every athlete dreams of being in the Olympics. The first step towards my Olympic Dream has begun with the opportunity to be one of only a few hundred shooters to compete at the USA Shooting National Junior Olympic Championships at Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. National Junior Team spots are on the line for top finishers at this event, offering me the possibility of competing internationally to represent the USA.
With travel costs increasing each year, my 2014 goal is to raise $2,500 to help pay for accommodations, entry fees, training supplies and travel expenses to this competition.

What is the USA Shooting National Junior Olympic Program?
The National Junior Olympic program provides competitions year-round for shooters to partake in. The program runs matches throughout the country, making it accessible for all interested juniors. Junior shooters are able to participate in State Competitions sanctioned by USA Shooting, allowing them the chance to receive an invitation to shoot at the National Junior Olympic Championships hosted by USA Shooting in Colorado Spring, Colorado. The program serves as an important element of our pipeline development system in promoting the shooting sports. Junior Olympic goals are to allow the skilled junior athletes to obtain National competitive experience for future development. The program also serves as an opportunity to appoint the top finishers to the National Junior Team.

The National Junior Olympic Championships was a great experience. I now have my eyes set on the NATIONAL CHAPIONSHIPS IN AUGUST!!!
NEW!!!! At the California State Junior Olympic Championships in Livermore, CA I socred 112 out of 125! With this score I earned the title of #1 in the State of California!!!! I received a Gold Medal!!!
