Daley is a new non-profit assistive software solution designed for children and adults with special needs who require the assistance of another person to help them perform their daily activities. It can be used by people with different forms of autism, Down syndrome, Asperger's syndrome, and various forms of dementia including Alzheimer's disease. It is also helpful for people who are recovering from brain injuries.
The service is being developed together with specialists, professionals, carers, family members and specialised caring organisations around the world.
Daley lets the carer plan daily activities for the person under care by using online dashboard through www.Daley.help . Carer can program the person under care’s tasks for the coming period, configuring the order of the activities and the exact duration of each step to be carried out for either one or more persons. The software then connects with the mobile device of the person under care and provides guidance by assisting them to perform their scheduled daily activities via step by step instructions, using pictures, text and audio through Daley mobile app.

Goals: Each donation will be fully used to achieve the following goals for the first phase of the service:
1) Completing the development:
Daley team has created the prototype of the service and custom content to be included in the service, all on our own strength (time, funds, expertise, network). Now we need additional funds to complete the technical part of the service, translate content to different languages and enable the service to go live.
2) Field testing and implementation:
Daley team already has international partnerships with different organisations and individuals who require assistance. Once the service is ready to go live, we will need funds to implement the service in several countries, train the new team members to assist the users and set up the user support.
If exceeded, all funds above the initial goals will be used fully for the follow up phase: new functional modules (statistics, progress monitoring, panic button expansion, location services, organisations expansion pack), creating more content, more languages, more countries, speed up implementation, expanding support and training Daley team.
Each donation, big or small, is very welcome and will help us continue the project. Our final goal is assisting as many people with special needs as possible by improving the quality of lives for them and their family members.
