Headache On The Hill Advocacy Trip

I suffer from a rare headache disorder called SUNCT syndrome. It is part of a class of headaches known as TAC. Most people know of them as Cluster Headaches. This is called the most painful condition known to man. There is a group of suffers and supporters that go to Washington every year to talk to our Congressmen and Senators. It is called Headache on the Hill. I would like to be part of this group this year. I would also like to take my wife, as she has been my largest advocate since diagnosed over ten years ago. I am renting a car to go down as the cost of flying is much more than I can afford. Even with some help from the advocacy group it is still going to cost me more than I can actually afford. I live on Disability since I have had an implant put into my head to try and help control the daily pain. The cost of the rental, gas, tolls, and food are going to be more than I am asking for, but I do not want to ask for more than I actually need. I know there are many other causes that need the money. Thank you in advance for any help you can give. There are so many people with headache disorders that need to have a voice in Congress.
