We are a group of students and community members from various places who reside in Greensboro, North Carolina. Greensboro has a large population of residents who are refugees or immigrants, and these members of our community are often overlooked when it comes to opportunities for success.
As members of our community who bring different perspectives and life experiences from this country's majority, we want to amplify their voices and ideas. We have organized a day-long social entrepreneurship retreat and workshops for youth from various parts of the refugee and immigrant community in Greensboro, culminating in teams of youth designing proposals for social entrepreneurship projects to implement in the Triad community.
The purpose of this fundraising campaign is to provide startup funding to launch the winning social entrepreneurship proposals. Please support the success of young people and building a more equitable society!
