Come Glamp with me! Our Woodland Oasis!

My vision is to create an eco friendly wood land oasis for
camping or glamping. Glamping is a term which is a recent addition to our
language. It is basically camping in style. Picture a nicely furnished tent in
the woods with almost all the comforts of home beautifully in tune with nature
and you have glamping!
I want to draw from our natural beauty of the woods around us and step into agritourism where folks stay here on our farm in our woods so close to everything but so far away and secluded. Our guests will be treated to a welcome basket of our goods and given brochures, coupons or cards from many local small businesses. They will be encouraged to visit the farm house for complimentary coffee, tea, muffins, scones and jam. While they are here they are welcome to tours and purchase good at our farm stand, hike our woods, take advantage of the natural beauty the local preserves, beaches and more have to offer and frequent our nearby towns for so much! Explore Maines beautiful bold coast and bask in local splendor!
Our tents will be placed on oversized locally custom made platforms which will give extra deck area for a grill /cooking/dish area as well as outdoor seating.
The inside of the tents will be beautifully decorated with the use of local seamstresses. We expect most will be accommodate 2-4 people. Each will have a camping toilet and a sun shower.
We are hoping to provide a family get away which can be enjoyed by all. It is our intention to start off with 4-5 camp areas and add more yearly.

Fire pit with basket of logs (wood can also be bought on site)
June-September with possible extended seasons.
Time spent on our farm visiting animals would be a perk! We are a working family farm running a small licensed dairy, produce gardens and berry fields on the scenic Bold Coast trail in Downeast Maine. So much to do in this area! Just over an hour drive to Bar Harbor/
Acadia region, 45 minutes to Winter Harbor /Acadia, Great Wass Island is just over the Beals Island Bridge with beautiful hiking, our back property neighbors a conservation preserve with hiking trails and going toward Machias and beyond we have Roque Bluffs State Park and the list goes on!
