Game Companion is a local short film made this summer. It has elements of video games, anime and cosplay.
"Thirty-something Bob lives downstairs in his mom's house, works in fast food and has one friend. His greatest accomplishment is making it to master in a fighter-style video game, permitting him a game companion, Kimiko, which turns out to be real. Kimiko is impressed with Bob as 'great warrior', but when she starts to discover he is not very important in his own world, her enthusiasm fades."
Our short film will be playing at many Japanese Anime Conventions worldwide in 2014. Most of the conventions in the United States have requested our presence to host a Q&A/Informative Panel after the screening. However due to our lack of funds most of what we make goes straight to living with little to nothing for anything else much less travel and are thus unable to make most of these appearances.
Our desire is to have our film seen by as many as we can and provide a deeper look into the world of movie making for everyone who may be interested.
All proceeds that are raised will go to travel and/or accommodations for as many conventions as we can appear at.
