Please help me save Leo!!

Please help me save Leo! As you can see, Leo is an adorable orange tabby. I've had him for 8 years and have raised him ever since he was a mewing little kitten. He is quite the hunter/explorer and often goes out and about on adventures in the great outdoors.

Yesterday, on Christmas Eve, I came home to find Leo outside on the step, severely injured and freezing. I believe that he may have gotten into a scuffle with a larger animal, possibly a dog or a coyote. His fur was matted with blood and he had signs of bite marks on his body. He was unable to move much and seemed exhausted from his terrifying ordeal.


I took him to the emergency clinic straight away, where he has been since. Fortunately, I was able to make a down payment for the costs of the surgery and treatment that Leo will require. He will need to be in intensive care for the time being, and require ongoing courses of pain medication and antibiotics. However, because I am a full-time student, I have had to scrape this together by borrowing the money from my student loans.


He is not out of the woods yet and remains in critical condition! Any contribution you can make would be amazing and greatly appreciated.
