STARVED DOG LEFT FOR DEATH!

Dixon was starved and left for death. His previous owner allegedly left him with a dog sitter and returned 3 months later to find his dog like the photo above. The previous owner insisted it was due to a medical issue. He was surrendered to Baby Gia's Rescue where he was put into a experienced foster home that has dealt with starvation cases. He continues to gain weight every day. He has a long road ahead of him but he is happy and has a full tummy every night. We are thankful for that. Dixon's diarrhea is hard to control without regular medications- He is also having to get routine blood work done as sometimes in starvation- organs shut down. He is on expensive well balanced food to keep up his weight loss. Please consider donating to Dixon's Journey!
