Hello Everyone,
I come here as a freelance artist hailing from New York State seeking help. I was born with a condition know as being intersexed. This in short, means I was born with a hodgepodge of mixed internal organs that are all bent on wreaking havoc with one another other. I've spent a good deal of my life really sick, constantly suffering from internal infections. This coupled with my Schizophrenia kept me from holding a steady job to pay for surgery. Unable to receive adequate medical assistance, a friend stepped up and loaned me the money to have the surgeries that I desperately needed to live a healthier life.
I began to feel really trapped and overwhelmed, and guilty for not being able to pay him back quicker.
Then I Found FundMe
I reached a very low place, rarely leaving the house and becoming depressed and feeling hopeless. After an acquaintance mentioned FundMe, I had renewed hope that I could finally be able to wipe my dept clean and focus on getting more help with my mental health.
I'm still trying to pay for the surgeries I desperately needed, and while they've helped and given me hope, I can't afford to pay off this hefty sum and still get the medication I need now.
I greatly appreciate you taking the time to read this and maybe donate to my cause. One I've finished paying off this debt, I hope to be able to focus more of continuing to better my life and maybe one day fly my Mother out to visit me.
