Teachers ❤️ To Haiti

Empowering Teachers Development Conference 2018!!! What’s the one thing we can give to help make this world a better place?? Education and that is what we both feel like we have been called to do!! We are excited to announce that we will be holding a conference for teachers at three schools in Haiti that are sponsored by Give Hope (a SC based Nonprofit organization). We hope to empower them by showing them we have their back and that they can go a long way in making a difference in the lives of the kids at Cambry Orphanage. Some of the teachers have very little education and while we do not want to standardize their strategies, it is our goal to provide support in areas of classroom community, special education, assisting struggling learners, and using their assessment data. We are spending this summer writing and preparing the content of our conference. We need your help though!! We need help with the cost of getting there and conducting the conference!! Special Project- seeing that we are both exceptional children education backgrounds and these kids have our hearts we are planning something special for the deaf/ special needs community in Haiti that Lynsey met in her February trip. The deaf community is located right outside of Cambry Orphanage and have their own school. Lynsey is in constant contact with the wonderful teachers and caretakers there. We hope to raise enough to provide items for their loving school and home. They’ve never asked for a thing but they surely deserve it!!
