I am taking a shot at this triathlon thing! I am raising awareness for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, the latter of which I live with. I am also hoping that my efforts on the race-course help motivate others with these diseases to remain active and as healthy as possible. Crohn's and Colitis are incurable autoimmune diseases that affect the digestive system and can be extremely debilitating and painful. I am raising money for the 2014 race season's costs which includes entry fees, travel costs, and equipment needs. The financial demands of a triathlon season can put a large and unfair amount of stress on a young family. I would love your help to relieve some of that stress so I can really make this project a reality. With your help, we can make people healthier, happier, and hopefully one day, disease free!
