Kane Strong

Donation protected
This is Kane, a 7 year old boy who has osteosarcoma of the left femur. Kane has been going through chemotherapy, has had two blood transfusions and on November 25 Kane had to have his left leg amputated. The Dr. Says they got all the cancer but Kane will still need 12 more weeks of chemo. As you can see from the pictures of Kane he is one happy kid! There is so much to share but I think one of the best is a quote from Kane, "grandma they can't take my leg, you don't understand I won't be able to swim without it." Kane has since picked out his "bionic leg" and has been showing it off to the staff and Drs at the hospital. Kane has become a Lego expert, as he sits in his hospital bed he loves to play with them, and he can build some amazing thing. We are going to send Kane, grandma, and two of his friends on a VIP trip to Legoland and the water park where he can show grandma he can still swim. They will stay the night in either the pirate room or kingdom room at Legoland hotel in Carlsbad. We need your help to raise the funds to let Kane leave the hospital and cancer behind and be a kid for a few days. So please give what you can and stay Kane strong.
