Help an artist, support my moving fund?

I'm in dire need of moving due to needing to get to an area that has more work opportunity pertaining to my degree since there isn't much at all where I currently live. My parents absolutely can not help me at all because they are using everything they have on my school loans that recently kicked in this year. Our loans equal up to around $140k and they're strapped for sparing any cash. On top of the loans, they have their own bills and needs to take care of and it's getting extremely tough for them. They are in their older ages (older 70's) and I worry that the stress will start affecting their health, which I'd like to avoid. I would like to start helping them in anyway I can whether it's paying their smaller bills, one of the smaller loans or sending money for essentials, however, I can't do this until I find a job that pays "decently" (and until I can start taking commissions regularly again or start travelling to cons to do artist alley sales. Finding a job would support this too). There's a couple of opportunities up in Philadelphia for me, but I need assistance in affording the deposit on an apartment, getting there and to have a bit of work done on my car. (It just needs a new battery really.) That and I'll be needing your basic living essentials. Luckily I will be having a roommate to help split the costs with, but I need to meet my half of the payments we'll be putting down. My parents can't spare anything with more of these loans coming in. So I need this move to happen so I can find work asap.

I'm booked with a backlog of commission work that accumulated while I was in college and can not take in huge significant amounts of work to support this move on those alone since I can't take in enough to cover the costs I'm looking to raise. My store sales are helping, but I can't solely rely on them with the little merchandise options I have at this moment. I'm still working on things to add to the store, but with this short amount of time I have, I definitely need some extra help to move in time before the month is over.

So I've dwindled down to starting a fundraiser as a last resort and hoping it will help. Any amount is appreciated, even if it's just $1. There are so many of you who follow me, if a good chunk of you donated the smallest amount possible it would definitely get me somewhere. I'm willing to offer art to people who contribute a very generous amount and would like something in return. But please keep in mind, I do have a queue to work on as soon as I move and get settled. It will most definitely take a while (we're talking over a span of a few months depending on what you get from me) for me to get to your art since I do have others that are a priority. So be aware if you decide to do this for me. Especially with this time being so critical, I'll be very preoccupied with getting settled.

Because of this, I have to set a limit and will only be doing art for those who contribute over $50 or more. I'll most likely give you colored digital sketches in return, or an icon (or several depending on how much you donate. Like $60-$100. I'm definitely in the mood for icons right now. If you happen to get more than one, I'll do connecting icons for you.) of your character of choice. If you happen to donate over $150+ then I will gladly do a digital rendered piece for you. These are for single characters only. I definitely can't muster in multiple character pieces at this moment. (I mean, I would probably consider depending on how much you decide to donate.) Single character things will definitely be much quicker for me to get to as well and be less stressful.

I definitely don't want to tack on too much more to what I already owe and get more overwhelmed than I am already, so I will need to keep tabs on those who want to do this and put a limit on how many I can squeeze into my list. I'm basically filling in the spots I've already managed to knock off my list these past couple of months, so I'm pretty much starting over.

I ask that you only do this if you're willing to be patient and understanding with me. I have others that have priority on their commissions, work to look for, and merchandise to work on for selling all at the same time. So come talk to me first and I will be willing to work on a setting a definite deadline for you based on all the other work I plan to get done in the next two or three months.
