Help Us Help Schools With Science & Math Hands-On Activities
U.S. students are falling behind other developed nations in learning science and math. (see NY Times, Dec 12, 2012 "U.S. Students Still Lag Globally in Math and Science, Test Show")
Since 2008 my organization Scopes-4-Schools has been donating telescopes, organizing star parties and activities so grade school students can discover the fun and excitement of science. Our mission is to help educators reverse this trend.
Scopes-4-Schools is currently raising funds to purchase and convert a 12 foot cargo trailer into a mobile astronomical observatory. This observatory will be used for at schools, libraries, public parks and other venues in an effort to educate and inspire both children and adults.
Support Public Education
Enhance STEM curricula
Inspire Children and Adults
Explain Recent Scientific Advances
Encourage Exploration and Understanding of the Universe
We appreciate your donations and support!
