Sydney in Uganda!
In 2013 and 2014, I spent a total of 8 months working with New Hope Ministries (www.newhopeafricanchildren.com) in Busia, Uganda. New Hope provides holistic care for orphaned and vulnerable children, as well as education for all children throughout the community.
With close connections still to my New Hope family, I have prayerfully decided to move in a different direction.
In January 2015, I will be moving back to Eastern Africa to make Uganda my permanent home!
I have decided to take a hiatus from any formal ministry or social work... and learn. I will be planting myself in the country for good, with the hopes of gaining more experience in the field of social work and of getting my Masters of Social Work in the next few years.
I am trying to raise at least $5,000 to kick start my journey! It will cover communication, transport, food, and lodging for the first few months of my stay!
I ask you to consider partnering with me, financially or prayerfully, in providing the best possible care to vulnerable children!
God Bless!
