Knoxville's Surgery

Here's Knoxville, our 1 year old pup. After meeting him, we immediately had to adopt him. The rescue crew told us he was involved in a "puppy fight" which is why he had a rather large, flat scar on the top of his head. Whether that's true or not, we'll never know.

Well our 13 pounder quickly became 53 lbs, and the more he grew the bigger his scar grew. We started getting concerned so we took him to the vet- they explained that the initial injury wasn't properly taken care of so now the hair follicles are constantly infected creating built up pus under the scar. Even when drained, they will continuously become infected.

We are reaching out for donations because unfortunately our pet insurance doesn't cover preexisting conditions. After trying to save for a few months we've realized we need a little help because the cost is out of our range.
