The dream of independence

We are converting our garage into a wheelchair accessible, kid-friendly bedroom with roll-in shower for our 8 yr old son who has Cerebral Palsy. He has struggled for many years with his Cerebral Palsy which makes every single day a challenge! He has epilepsy and has anyway between 20-40 seizures a day. He also has trouble with his feeding tube which makes him nauseous and just had surgery on both hips because they were dislocated from his tight muscles! We want to give Caleb a barrier free space which is safe for him and meets all of his needs! We need everyone's help to make this possible! Every dollar counts and goes towards creating this safe place for my son! This bedroom means our family and Caleb's three year old brother, Grayson will get to remain together and that Caleb will always be able to stay at home... Never having to go into a nursing home! This room will have a ceiling track with a lift that will make for ease when transferring Caleb from bed to his wheelchair! It will also have a roll-in shower which takes all the stress away from my husband and I along with Caleb's wonderful homecare nurses! This room will change his life! Please help us make this possible! Thank you!
