Jude's Surgery Fundraiser

June, 2014 I was terminated from my job because the changes of my transition began to show. From then on I found it nearly impossible to find work because I was at such an in-between stage with my transition and it confused a lot of potential employers. I lost my home and couch-surfed for a few months until I was forced to return home to my family in NY. I finally obtained employment nearly a year later. I'm doing a lot of catch-up on my finances and have stability with my doctor and prescriptions now. 

The next step is to get top surgery and after being on testosterone for a year and a half the need is becoming overwhelming. While I can pass fairly well my chest is still a dead give away. It is a center of extreme dysphoria for me and distress. Living with binders can only go so far and now I need to head for surgery.

I have applied for grants and all kinds of assistance while also working and trying to save whatever I can. This fundraiser is one more avenue I'm attempting to help raise the $15,000 needed for surgery.
