Philippine typhoon & earthquake relief

Donation protected
My family lives in Tangnan and Tontonan on the island of Bohol in the Philippines. My family and their community of 500 people are cut off from the towns receiving aid because of their location. Tangnan and Tontonan are on a thin strip of land with mountain on one side and the sea on the other side. The only access is along this thin strip of land which has been cut off by several bridges that were knocked down and land slides covering the only road from the 7.2 earthquake on Oct. 15, 2013. All of these people have been living in tents or under tarps since the earthquake and were still living that way when the typhoon haiyan hit last week. These are good people that have suffered 2 major disasters in a row, they range in age from new babies to 90 years old and every age in between. They have all lost their homes and were not even able to start to rebuild before the typhoon hit. Even the basic needs of life are in very short supply and due to their remote location and landslides and missing bridges, the aid is not getting to their area. We have sent money to have a small supply boat bring water, milk powder, rice, and dried fish from Cebu direct to Tangnan and Tontonan... they land the boat as close to shore as possible, then hand carry the supplies to shore. Please help us to continue this much needed supply of food & water. We have exhausted our personal finances and are hoping others will be willing to help these people that have been forgotten by the rest of the relief effort. Please help...... even your $1.00 donation will be appreciated and these people will be very grateful. Please give any amount you can afford. God Bless
