Typhoon Haiyan Relief Fund Part II

Due to some temporary glitches that was previously experienced with Mieka Bradford's site to raise funds : http://www.gofundme.com/56a7cs
we put up this alternate site so as not to disrupt the coming in of donations. All donations on this site and the one above will be combined and will serve the same purpose. All 100% of the funds collected will be given directly to the victims. Moreover, we have friends in the island of Boracay who are currently without power and internet (they were also affected by this calamity) who are raising funds and collecting in kind despite the challenges they are currently facing. Everything will be pooled together and will be distributed as soon as possible.
The response has been overwhelming and we would like to continue this effort. We are a collection of Filipinos and non-Filipinos who live in this country or whose lives in one way or another was touched by the beauty of the Philippines. And at this time of great need, we aim to give back. You too can join us by donating any amount you can.
