Donation for the Philippines

Hi everyone,
As many of you all know about the devastating effect that typhoon Haiyan left in the Philippines this past weekend, I would like to raise money for donation to those people who were affected by it.
Many people were left without clothing, food, shelter and have either lost or separated from their loved ones. The estimated death toll is continually increasing as the day goes on. It's disheartening to see/hear about this catastrophe.
For those of you who asked me about my relatives in the Philippines, thank you for asking. My relatives are good because they didn't get hit by the typhoon. Anyhow, all I ask of you is to give any amount of money that you can. Proceeds will go to American Red Cross www.redcross.org

Just a little something about me. I am a Filipino-American who migrated in the US back in 2006. My family and I live in Chapel Hill, NC and we've been in the states for 7 years. I still have my relatives back in the Philippines. Fortunately, they are not affected by it because almost all of them live in Manila. My main reason is to just help out the people who were affected by the typhoon.
