Support cancer research in memory of Carla.3
The project was created by the desire to pay tribute to the extraordinary exemplarity, that has characterized the heroic
struggle of Carla against breast cancer disease. Andrea and Pierluigi decided to promote the collection of funds to do something, however small, on the road of defeat of this monster of our day, by mankind.
So it is designed to support, in oncology, activities, projects and studies to promote pain management and palliative care; also wants to help give impetus to cultural initiatives, linked to basic scientific research, in the field health and social care.
This is Andrea, son of Carla.
I really want to share with you something:
I love and practical astronomy, a unique training ground for life, humility and knowledge of our cosmic location. Just the knowledge of the sky, over the years has led me to a deeply mature awareness, about the wonder of that extraordinary phenomenon that, as far as we know today, only we humans can experiment, and we call life.
A product of the cosmos that wonders about himself, used to say the great Carl Sagan.
Let's make sure that this filiation can perpetuate itself for billions of years yet, in peace and serenity, according with the quiet dynamycs of our Sun.
My mother had always wanted to visit the U.S. once again, but she hadn't the opportunity.
And so, symbolically, we decided to collect a small amount even on American soil. This is a challange !
