PROJECT AMIGO - Help Us... Help Them!

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On March 7th, 2015 I will be attending, for a second time in my life, an overseas humanitarian project and have chosen a medical/community services journey to the mountain region of the State of Colima, Mexico. My wife Mindi and I will be working with a strictly non-political organization called "Project Amigo" and you can view their web site at www.projectamigo.org . During our project week, (03/07/2015 - 03/14/2015), we will be bringing community based services and items to work camps, schools and orphanages. The focus of the week will be on lliteracy,  so I expect that we will be distributing books and doing a lot of One-on-One reading with the children of Colima and the surrounding areas. 
As many of you know, I have been an active member of the Brewster Rotary Club and as a Rotarian; we frequently offer our services and/or raise money to fund similar humanitarian projects all across the globe. My wife Mindi and I have always had a strong desire to reach out to others in need and to be part of a "hands-on" program as Project Amigo, which by the way, is a Rotary International recognized organization.


If you find yourself willing and able to contribute to our quest, please consider doing it here and now. You may also utilize the Brewster Rotary Club directly to make your contribution tax deductible. Please be sure to earmark any contribution you make directly to the Brewster Rotary for "Project Amigo 2015" specifically. We have a $10,000.00 commitment to this project and I do want you to know that we are going... regardless of the amount of donations we are fortunate enough to raise.
