Wayne's Kidney Fund
My husband and I have been married for three years, we have a 20 month old son named Caedus. My husband moved from Australia 1 year ago after fighting to be with us for 2 years prior. We were married in Australia, but my Visa there was denied so we had to return here. Wayne has several medical diseases and conditions. He is a Type 2 Diabetic. He also has Ischaemic Heart Disease, Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, Fibrosis of the Liver, Peripheral Neuropathy, Stage 2 Hypertension, Hyperlipidaemia, Inflammed Interior Walls in his upper and lower lungs, and has had 5 TIA strokes and 7 minor heart attacks, all since he was 27 and before he has reached 33. Wayne was just diagnosed with colon disease (diverticulosis) and in addition to that he was told that he is in the later stages of kidney disease. This means he will either need a kidney transplant or dialysis soon. We have very little money and are struggling financially. We lost our joint job together (property managers) only weeks before we received the news and now my husband is barely able to work his second job. We have been forced to live apart as we can not afford our own home. I am having to stay with my parents, and Wayne is sleeping on a friend's sofa, or in his car when he visits us on weekends. If anyone is able to, or desires to help us survive (Or help us pay for burgeoning medical bills); it would be appreciated with all of our hearts.
We hope to raise enough at least for one year of kidney dialysis, which on average without any insurance is $50,000 but anything helps and can keep us a family for a longer amount of time.
God bless and many thanks, Jennifer and Wayne.
