Blue Acre Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre started in 2002 by Caron North and Bob Regan, with one horse (whom the centre is named after) and a lot of determination and passion. It has been a contact struggle to survive and at times we though we wouldn’t.
Today we are still operating on a 40 acre farm in Old Windsor. At any one time we care for approx. 40 horses, countless chickens and ducks. Without your help it would be impossible to survive. We struggle to get through every Winter due to the amount of horses which need hard feed to keep their weight on to stay warm and healthy throughout the season and only rely on donations from kind people.
Please please think of our four legged babies, who; some have had a very tough and upsetting past and we at Blue Acre only wish to take care of them and provide them with a loving, nurturing and natural environment.
