Over the past nine (9) months DIRadioCast.com has been experiencing slow response times ending in database connection problems due to the increase of traffic to our site and the growth of our network. In order to continue providing independent artists, small businesses and urban lifestyle enthusiast information, access and entertainment we must move our content to a dedicated server. This move will ensure faster readily available content and improve user experience while increasing the value of network affiliated sites.
Currently DIRadioCast New Media Network supports nine (9) small business sites and eight (8) syndicated new media content producers. Through our network these businesses, brands and artists have access to mobile and in car app distribution, as well as, benefit from our social media marketing efforts. A dedicated server would afford us the ability to extend services and resources to additional network prospects. The process of moving the current site to a new server and hosting platform cost roughly $5,000. Each day that we remain on the current server we run the risk of losing new and returning users for not only DIRadioCast.com but the businesses, brands and artists that rely on our network for support.
