Help me get Sophie healthy!

Meet Sophie! Our first Ruff Life Charities candidate!! She is an 10 year old beagle mix rescued in FL about 3 years ago from her current owner. She has developed tumors on her body which most are just fatty tumors, but she has a questionable one on her shoulder. I was at the Vet with her and her mom on Monday and our first step is to check for heart worm before we can proceed with action. Her mom has fallen on hard times and has let some of the regular care needed go because of her own disabilities and health issues. She had to put her other dog down last month and her and Sophie are just having a hard time with adjusting with the loss. We have set up a fund to raise the money needed to get Sophie healthy and keep her and Betty together!



Along with Sophie's health issues, Betty (her mom) has been battling her own issues with Cancer. She is on disability from a long career in Nursing. She cannot work and is trying to hold it all together with no family. My heart went out to her as she called me for help. It's our turn to "Pay it Forward"!
