Thank you to a very generous Tidal Creek home bible study group who has offered to provide a delicious Thanksgiving meal to Meredith and her children from Burlap Cafe on Boundary Street. This gift is SO appreciated as Meredith continues to heal and needs every ounce of her strength for her children, physical therapy and returning to work. God bless you all who continue to share your time, talents, gifts and generous support to this beautiful family!!!
As we approach the season of Thanksgiving, we are reminded how precious life is and how much friendship and family mean to each of us. Thank you all for loving and supporting Meredith...co-workers, neighbors, church family, family members, friends near and far and even perfect strangers who banded together to support and lift this single mommy up in her time of need. Meredith is as strong as they come...this determined mommy is going back to work today. Please keep her in your prayers as her body continues to heal and for the coming weeks that will be a strain on her emotionally and physically. Your gifts and your generosity are appreciated so very much!!!
Angel sighting on EARTH!!! God bless you Tommy Hunt, Ronnie and Sonya Reiselt with Southern Tree Service. They are going to finish trimming the trees away from Meredith's roof...removing all reminders of this terrible accident and replacing them with reminders that there is SO much goodness and kindness in this town. Angels...right here in Beaufort y'all!
MEDICAL UPDATE...Meredith has been scheduled for another surgery next Tuesday, November 5th. Dr. Burris will be performing a skin graft to help her wound heal. Needless to say, we need our PRAYER WARRIORS to lift Meredith up now more than ever...she is exhausted and tired of hurting. This momma is ready for healing and ready to get back to her life, job, routine and being at full strength for her children. Thank you for continuing to love and support her with meals and give of financial support. God bless you!!
Hello friends...Meredith is still recovering at home and she appreciates all of you SO much for your prayers, financial gifts, help around her home and the delicious meals you are sharing with her and her children. Meredith met with her doctor this week and will be needing another wound vac installed. Her wound is not healing like it should and she may even need a 3rd surgery to do a skin graft. Please continue to lift her up in prayer and please, PLEASE keep sharing this page with friends...Meredith is still off work without pay and needs to support herself and her children through this difficult time. Thank you!!!
Good morning friends! Meredith is so grateful to be home recovering with loved ones by her side, but she is NOT out of the woods yet. Please keep her in your prayers today that...she is being watched closely for infection at the wound site. We want to thank a local home health agency by the name of Unihealth who has offered to donate their care services to her. Also, many thanks to the Wilson family for sending Ben Fontenont of Grasschopper Lawn Service to complete Meredith's lawn care, edging, de-weeding and adding fresh pine straw to her flower beds. Her home looks BEAUTIFUL...a place she can truly rest now and enjoy!

To put this in perspective...Meredith is home, but has a long road of recovery ahead of her. We all know her strength and resolve and know that she is one of the hardest working momma's in town. But, her spray tan business is temporarily closed and her paid personal leave essentially ended yesterday at noon. This is a frightening situation for a single mom who has ALWAYS taken care of her household and her children. GOD BLESS you all for giving and loving and caring for Meredith right now. No gift is too small...every prayer, every gift, every donation of time, energy and love is SO appreciated!!!
Sincerest thank you goes out today to the Graves family for donating a medical bed for Meredith...she will rest SO much better now. Also, thank you to Cher Milner for delivering Meredith's favorite snacks and Gingerale today. And thank you Travis Altman for being a wonderful neighbor, friend and lawn angel...her yard looks great!! God bless you friends for your continued prayers, support and gifts of love!!! Meredith is home now resting. Good night and thank you for continuing to spread the word...GO TEAM MIMI!!!
She's coming HOME!!! We all pray that you and your family travel safely home today from Memorial Hospital Meredith. You will be surrounded by love and support from neighbors, friends and family and will be able to rest and heal in the comforts of your own home! Thanks be to God!

Please keep sharing this site with your friends...
A HUGE thank you today to Mary Holliday for sending Miss Angelia to clean Meredith's house and to Mike Tulley of Mike's Mobile Wash for donating his services and coming this afternoon to wash/bleach the outside of her home. There are so many ways to give to those in need and we appreciate you all loving and supporting Meredith with your time, supplies and gifts. She will be coming home to a clean house lifting that burden for a little while. God bless you!!
Here is Meredith UPDATE as of 8:51pm: "Ok surgery went well was able to close 80% of wound and have a wound vac in the open part. Hope to go home Wednesday or Thursday once they set up home health care." Keep praying for our girl and thank you each and everyone for your support...it takes a village and Beaufort County is the strongest village I've ever seen!!!
This is a very important and special support request for Meredith Irion, "Mimi", who was gravely injured by a chain saw Saturday afternoon (October 12, 2013) on Lady's Island. Meredith was not operating the chainsaw...this was a terrible accident that occurred while assisting a gentleman who was removing branches away from her roof. Meredith is a single mom and the sole supporter of two beautiful children. Meredith will be on leave without pay, her business "Bronze by Mimi" will obviously be CLOSED and income-free for awhile and many benefits she once qualified for have come (or will be coming) to an abrupt end. Meredith is having her 2nd surgery in a 48 hour time period today and possible more to come. Not to mention, months of PT ahead of her. There is a long journey of healing ahead and any amount of support you can share with this beautiful family is SO appreciated. She is one courageous, strong lady and ALWAYS offers a supporting hand to anyone in need...now it is our turn to love and support her. God bless you...please share with friends...if we all give a little, the weight of the world can be lifted a little from Meredith as she heals.
